About Ed
I am a native of Cleveland who moved to Atwood Lake upon retirement. I have been a florist since I was 13 years old and still work part time doing flowers. I graduated from John Carroll University. I owned and operated many assorted retail businesses including multiple flower shop locations during my career.
I have been painting watercolors for over 10 years taking lessons at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center of which I am a member with Jack Mulhollen and Sally Heston and at Bath United Church of Christ with Cathy Welner.
I am a long time exhibitor at the Epiphany Arts Festival. I am also a member of the Hudson Society of Artists and have attended many of their demonstrations. I have attended numerous workshops at Cliffside Artist Collaborative in Hinckley and at Lakeside.
My work is realistic watercolors capturing light with attention to value and composition.
