The TuscArts Cooperative Board of Directors will determine operating policies. A minimum 6 month commitment is required.The Applying Artist Must Agree To – Pay annual dues to TAC once per year. This will help with expenses for openings, advertising and your artist profile on our website. $55 annually payable upon acceptance to the co-op. Each Artist must provide information and have an artist page on the TAC website. The cost is part of the membership fee. This provides you with a personalized webpage with contact information. Each Artist will be required to pay $25 a month, Gallery fee, and 10% commission fee to Around the Corner Frames and Gallery. Payable the first of each month. We will provide online payment option. Each Artist must maintain inventory for sale in the gallery and keep a record of their inventory on file in the gallery. Artists are expected to refresh their displays with new work as needed. The set Hours of Operation are Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 4pm. The gallery will be open for events and shows as needed. TAC expects that all members of the co-op gallery will cooperate and assist each other to ensure that the gallery will be open during the advertised hours and each will take turns to be at the gallery. Be considerate of individual obligations and schedules. Assist with other aspects of the gallery operations as needed, such as including planning meetings, promotional activities. Process sales transactions, with instructions provided. Items for sale must be created or made by the artist or artisan. If an item is assembled from existing materials, to be considered handmade, the seller must substantially alter the design of the materials. Items produced from “kits” are not allowed. Selling imported, commercial, or mass-produced items is not permitted. All work must be professionally presented and packaged.
